This is my first time to post questions regarding my 2011 odyssey alternator problems. The OEM alternator was replaced by a Denso reman last summer due to failing to charge the battery, it was smoked and caused burning smell before it was died. However the Denso seems dead again after only one year passed.Honda agreed with me that they should have advised me that the oil leak may damage the alternator, therefore they covered the cost for a new alternator (was a few months outside of the 1 year warranty).
